Personality Assessments

The Big Five Personality Test

Explore your personality with the highly respected Five Factor model (AKA the Big Five). You'll see how you stack up on 5 major dimensions of personality: Openness, Conscientiousness, Agreeableness, Extraversion, and Neuroticism.

What Does It Measure?

This test is based on the Five Factor model of personality, the most widely accepted theory of personality today. The Five Factor model scores people based on five broad dimensions of personality:

  • Openness to Experience - How much do you enjoy abstract ideas and artistic expression?
  • Conscientiousness - How much do you put off immediate gratification in order to achieve long-term goals?
  • Extraversion - How much do you turn to the outside world for stimulation and excitement?
  • Agreeableness - How much do you put others ahead of yourself?
  • Neuroticism - How likely are you to bounce back from stressful events?

The Big Five model of personality is widely considered to be the most robust way to describe personality differences. It is the basis of most modern personality research.

The Typefinder Personality Test

The TypeFinder is the scientifically validated personality type test that anyone can use. Based on the original 16 types created by Isabel Briggs Myers, the TypeFinder uses adaptive technology to unlock your true type quickly and accurately. Learn your four-letter type, such as ENFP or ISTJ, and find out what it means for you in life and work. Plus, discover your personal strengths so that you can plan a life that sets you up for success. You'll get the crucial info you need to make the most of your potential and be the best you that you can be.

This test is essentially a shortened version of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).

What Does It Measure?

The TypeFinder finds your personality type according to the 16-type system developed by Isabel Briggs Myers. Your personality is assessed on four dimensions:

Extraversion vs. Introversion
Sensing vs. Intuition
Thinking vs. Feeling
Judging vs. Perceiving

Your results on each dimension are combined to create your four-letter type code, for example INTP or ESFJ.
