GATHER FACTS...NOT OPINIONS

Most students (and parents) feel some level of anxiety when it comes time to declare a major. Most of this anxiety comes from the fact that much of what they believe to be true about majors…simply isn't. Preconceived assumptions and myths have been conditioned into students from an early age. These untruths cause students to overthink this decision, which can lead to unnecessary stress and uneducated choices.

This is why it's important to gather FACTS (not opinions) when exploring majors. EVERYONE can benefit from taking the time to explore their options before committing, whether they're anxiously undecided, comfortably declared, or somewhere in between. As a college student, you owe it to yourself to gather as much accurate and reliable information as possible so that you can make a confident and informed decision. The TME Toolbox gives you access to that information.
