TME is a collaboration between two "major" powerhouses, the Academic Center for Exploratory Students (ACES) and the Center for Career Readiness and Life Skills. Both departments have professional staff dedicated to helping students navigate their major and career exploration. You can also utilize TME Mentors and academic advisors in academic departments for more specific questions.
Read below to identify who can best address your needs!
Exploratory Advisors
Exploratory Advisors are professional advisors who support students with major exploration, and support students interested in application-based majors. They are well-versed in all UConn majors. You should connect with an Academic Advisor if you are interested in learning about the academic details of any UConn major such as major content, course requirements and planning, admission requirements (if applicable), contacts within the major, etc.
Career Coaches
Career Coaches are professionals who support students with career exploration, gaining internship experience, and developing life skills for career readiness. If you want to learn more about how majors connect to careers, both directly and indirectly, and how to articulate your skills in relation to your potential career path, these are the people to contact.
