Exercise Science Major Website
The Exercise Science program prepares students to analyze sport and exercise performance in a physiological context. This major was designed to prepare students for graduate study in exercise science. Other students have used this concentration to prepare for medical school, physician assistant programs, physical therapy, and other healthcare professions. Students complete coursework in general education, cognate areas, and kinesiology, with an emphasis on basic science courses. It has well-equipped laboratories in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Biochemistry, and Sport Biomechanics.
HOW TO DECLARE:
APPLICATION REQUIRED. Admission is very competitive and requires a strong GPA along with the completion of specific courses. Find more information and the application here.
