Biological Sciences Major Website
The Biological Sciences major prepares students to pursue careers in diverse fields such as biotechnology, health fields, government, education, research, and forensic science. This degree is intended for students with broad interests in the area of biology. By selection of suitable courses, in consultation with your academic advisor, any area of biology can be emphasized. In addition to completing at least one course from each of the five “core groups,” students are urged to complete at least four courses with laboratory work in any of the biology departments.
