With over 100 majors offered here at UConn, it's easy to feel overwhelmed when you're exploring. We suggest you start by choosing a Major Exploration Group. Major Exploration Groups are clusters of majors with related content and disciplinary focus. Having a Major Exploration Group (instead of being undecided) will give you a direction and will greatly simplify the exploration process.

BUSINESS
Interested in leading people, analyzing data, planning investments, or persuading consumers? The Business Exploration Group might be a wise place to look.
CULTURES & HUMANITIES
If you're interested in art, music, history, literature, and/or languages, you might consider turning your passion for the humanities into a major.
EDUCATION
This group is worth exploring if you're interested in learning how to manage a classroom, designing and teaching inspiring lessons, and helping students succeed.
FINE ARTS & DESIGN
Fine Arts and Design majors explore performance and/or production of various art forms as well as theory, history and the impact of art on society.
HEALTH AND MEDICINE
Motivated and interested in sciences and helping others? Open to learning new technology? Want to be on the cutting edge of your field? The health sciences could be for you!
MATH & ENGINEERING
Do you love investigating how and why things work? Are you interested in how science is applied to everything in our lives? Are math and/or science courses your thing? Check our the Math and Engineering Exploration Group.
