WHAT IS ANALYTICS AND INFORMATION MANAGEMENT (AIM)?

This major prepares individuals to help manage the data systems and daily operations of a company. One will learn about the topics of data encryption and security measures to safeguard company information, networking computers, processing and retrieving information in a system, responding to internal data requests, and operations management. A person in this major will also learn various computer languages and work in many types of environments. Examples include: SQL, Oracle, Cobol, Visual Basic, Java, C++. This will help the person develop computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific company information. The AIM major helps prepare individuals to not only manage database systems, but also to investigate and resolve computer problems and provide technical assistance or training to users.

All School of Business majors can also be completed through the dual degree program EUROBIZ (dual degree with German Studies).

Students majoring in Analytics and Information Management are eligible to apply for the Accelerated Master's Programs in the School of Business.

HOW TO DECLARE:
